The Sydney Street Choir leads singing tours from the heart of Sydney to the heart of Australia...

This year marks the choir's sixth year in operation and we are celebrating that success. In August this year the choir is touring over 2 weeks, from Darwin to Uluru, with local indigenous folk to sing and record new music.

Perhaps you would like to take the opportunity to support this non-profit community organisation in this very unique place in their history?

The choir toured to Melbourne earlier this year with the support of Virgin Blue Airlines, RecLink Melbourne, Street Smart Australia, Jonathon Welch and The Choir Of Hard Knocks. SSC visited Bathurst recently to sing at a big concert called Voices Against Violence, and spent a day writing music for the theatre project next year.

So far the choir has managed to stay active through the support of volunteers and small grants that have been made available to them.

Donations

The only way the choir can continue to sing is through the generosity of people supporting us.

Donations of $1,000, $500, $300, or $100 are most welcome.  If you’d rather give us a different amount that would be fantastic too.
Donations cover the general costs of keeping the choir singing as well as raising the funds for future tours.

I came from Taree, Child of Biripi, I left my mob with no goodbye. Foster mum and I saw differently,  we had fights, but she nurtured me.  Saw a DOCS stand at the Easter Show,  found my mob and now I know I'm a Child of Biripi.   Song Lyrics by Charles Leon
