The Sydney Street Choir leads singing tours from the heart of Sydney to the heart of Australia... This year marks the choir's seventh year in operation and we are celebrating that success. In August this year the choir is touring over 2 weeks, from Darwin to Uluru, with local indigenous folk to sing and record new music. |

So far the choir has managed to stay active through the support of volunteers and small grants that have been made available to them. Perhaps you would like to take the opportunity to support this non-profit community organisation in this very unique place in their history? |
The choir toured to Melbourne with the support of Virgin Blue Airlines, RecLink Melbourne, Street Smart Australia, Jonathon Welch and The Choir Of Hard Knocks. SSC visited Bathurst recently to sing at a big concert called Voices Against Violence, and spent a day writing music for the theatre project next year. The choir also toured to Newcastle for Wesley Missions Fundraiser TOUCH FOR LIFE, sharing the performance stage with Leo Sayer & Ricki-lee! The choir recently visited Albury to sing for a fundraiser for Quamby House, St Vincent de Paul, also visiting Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In November the choir heads to Canberra for the first time.
